Avatar: IMAX 3D Experience

Preliminary Review: An absolutely amazing visual spectacle that will undoubtedly do for visual effects, what Citizen Kane did for cinematography.  Sam Worthington REALLY IS a 10 foot tall, blue skinned alien; your argument is invalid.

Rain: H20 NO

Here’s a video that one of my friends made for UCLA Spring Sing ‘09 that is currently featured on the front page of FunnyOrDie.com, starring Jordan Riggs (from the hit webseries Dorm Life), and directed and shot by my friends and TFT classmates Mark Stewart Iverson and  Kevin T. Custer (respectively).  Watch here and also be sure to vote for it at FunnyOrDie.com to keep it on the front page!

“UP” In The Air

I wanted to post a video that my roommate recently made.  It’s a mashup of the trailer for Jason Reitman’s new film “Up In The Air” and another trailer that you can see for yourself.  I suggest watching the trailer for “Up In The Air” first, and then watching the video my roommate made.  There’s not much else that really needs to be said, other than click on the thumbnails to view each video.

And now, my roommate’s video.

Leave any comments you may have, here, and also show it to as many people as you know.  I think it’s incredibly well done and would love to get the views up to a noticeable number, and hopefully get this video, and his talent, some exposure on other blogs like /Film.  So get to watchin’!
